Would you like to learn some Reflexology techniques to use on yourself and loved ones?
Reflexology is a holistic practice based on the belief that specific areas of the feet correspond with different parts of the body. These areas are known as reflexes.
The feet contain thousands of nerve endings. Gentle pressure to specific reflex points can help signal the nervous system to relax, supporting the body’s natural rest-and-repair processes.
At the end of this workshop, you will have learnt a short sequence that you can utilise on yourself or loved ones to encourage relaxation, reduce stress and tension, support better sleep and promote a sense of well-being and balance.
When: Friday 10th April 2026 10am to 1pm
Where: The Therapy Shed, Dowdings Brook Lane, Bosbury, Herefordshire. HR8 1QD
Price: £65 per person.
Accessibility: Free parking in the driveway. The driveway is gravel so not suitable for wheelchairs and there is a small step up on to the decking at the entrance to the cabin.
FAQs
What is involved?
This is a hands-on workshop, and you will be expected to practise on a pair of feet and have yours worked on by someone else. It is a relaxed and friendly environment, and it is lovely to have your feet worked on as you learn the techniques.
You will learn a step-by-step sequence to promote relaxation and well-being, with plenty of time to practise. You will be laying on a reflexology chair (lafuma) during part of the workshop and sat on a stool or chair while you are learning and practicing the techniques on someone else’s feet.
Do I need to know anything about reflexology, or have had it before, to attend this workshop?
No – no previous experience is necessary. All you need is a willingness to learn and have fun, be prepared to work on someone else’s feet, and have yours worked on too.
Will this qualify me to work as a reflexologist?
No - you will not be qualified as a reflexologist after attending. This is a workshop to learn informal techniques for self-help. This does not qualify you to gain insurance to practice professionally.
What is provided?
Full tuition including a handout with the reflex points, balm to use during the workshop, a wooden foot massage tool to take home, refreshments.
